Yemen's gov't confirms 26 new COVID-19 cases, 1,760 in total

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Hadi regime-controlled provinces increased to 1,760 on Tuesday, as 26 new cases were confirmed.

The health ministry said in a brief press statement that during the past 24 hours, the number of recoveries in the Hadi regime-controlled areas increased to 863 since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus on April 10.

Also, the regime announced that the death toll from the deadly respiratory disease climbed to 506 in different areas under its control, including the southern port city of Aden.

It called on donors and relevant international humanitarian organizations to provide support to help contain the pandemic.
