Yemen’s national delegation on Friday accused Patrick Cammaert, the head of the UN mission tasked with overseeing a peace deal in Hodeida, of diverting the course of implementing the agreement.
“Cammaert is trying to divert the implementation of the agreement from an operational course to a negotiating course,” member of the national delegation, Saleem al-Mgallis, stated.
Al-Mgallis expressed shock at the retired general’s attitude.
“It is strange that the representative of the United Nations, the sponsor of the agreement, bears this coup d'état course, and not only the representatives of the aggression,” he added.
