Dozens of Militants killed, Wounded in Yemen’s Nehm

Dozens of Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and injured on Saturday when an explosive device, planted by the Yemeni army was detonated in Nehm district of Sana’a province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The explosive device exploded in Yam front, killing and injuring dozens of Saudi-backed forces.

Saudi Arabia backs Yemen’s resigned Hadi regime and has since March 2015 led a coalition battling the country’s Houthi revolutionaries.

Yemen’s stalemated three-year war has killed over 10,000 people and devastated the country’s infrastructure. The Saudi-led coalition faces widespread international criticism over airstrikes that kill civilians.
