The Saudi-led coalition carried out airstrikes and missile attacks against a number of Yemeni provinces on Friday.

According to Yemen’s state-run news agency Saba, the Saudis and their allies attacked targets in the county’s northwest province of Saada where a child was injured in the Razeh border district.

Warplanes also struck central parts of the province, causing extensive collateral damage.

Some 170 km northeast of the capital Sana'a, the fighter jets attacked the province of Jawf.

Meanwhile, in northeast province of Marib, two airstrikes were reported in the Rabeeah and Matar areas.

Saudi Arabia has been leading a destructive military campaign against Yemen since March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and crush the Houthi movement.

The campaign devastated the country’s infrastructure, killing tens of thousands including many women and children.
