Yemeni Forces Launch Special Operation Against Saudi Mercenaries In Jizan

The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees targeted the gathering sites of Saudi troops in al-Qarn village and al-Kars base in Jizan, Lebanon's al-Mayadeen news channel quoted the Yemeni sources.

In another development, the Yemen Defense Ministry said that a number of Saudi mercenaries have been killed an injured as a result of Yemeni Army and Popular Committees’ special operation against the Saudi mercenaries in al-Tala’ah military base in Yemen’s southwestern province of Najran.

The Yemeni forces pounded also the gathering site of Saudi servicemen and fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi mercenaries in al-Shabakah hill in Najran.

In the meantime, the Saudi warplanes attacked the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees ‘positions in al-Qamar and al-Jaberi villages in Jizan for 12 times.

The Saudi fighter jets launched attacks against the government departments and the Huth District in the northern province of Amran.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
