Three people were killed and two others wounded when Saudi warplanes repeatedly struck al-Safra district in the Saada province.

The strikes hit the main road in Al-Amar area, killing three citizens and wounding two others.

Yemeni military officials strongly condemned the continuation of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression for its targeting of civilians and committing war crimes against the Yemeni people for over two and a half years.

Saudi Arabia has been leading a destructive military campaign against Yemen since March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and crush the Houthi movement.

The campaign has seriously damaged the country’s infrastructure. Local Yemeni sources have put the death toll from the Saudi war at over 12,000, including many women and children.
