Yemeni Forces Fire Missiles at Saudi Troops in Jizan

The Yemeni army and Popular Committees managed to hit a gathering of Saudi-led coalition forces in the kingdom’s southern province of Jizan with missiles, Yemeni sources said.

The Yemeni forces have launched missiles at gathering site of Saudi servicemen in Sala military base in Jizan.

In another development, a number of mercenaries of the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, were killed as a result of Yemeni army and Popular Committees’ attacks in al-Dar al-Gharbi and Hamir regions of Maqbanah District, southwest of Taiz governorate, Lebanese based Al Mayadeen TV Network said.

In the meantime, Yemeni army and Popular Committees launched unique operation against the Mansour Hadi’s mercenaries in Yakhtal region of Al Mukha District in southwestern province of Taiz governorate and killed and injured a number of them.

Meantime, there are reports of clashes between the Yemeni forces and the Saudi mercenaries in Zabab coastal area at Taiz.

The attacks against Saudi forces came in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two and half years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to Hadi.

Over 12,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
