The Houthi Ansarullah forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, imposed full control over several military sites in the Sana’a and Mareb governorates on Thursday, further adding to their gains made on Wednesday.
In the morning, the allied forces captured Furdhat Niham (Brigade 312 base) after a violent battle with the Saudi-led Coalition and Hadi loyalists in the Sana’a Governorate.
Capturing this site, the Houthi forces and Republican Guard are now at the fringes of the Mafraq Junction and Al-Milh Mountains that lead to the nearby Mareb Governorate in central Yemen.
On Wednesday, the Houthi forces and Republican Guard seized the mountaintops of Jabal Khalifa and Jabal Fatem that located in between Sana’a and Mareb.
