The Saudi aggression war jets have renewed their bombing on the capital Sana’a, targeting several areas in al-Sabeen district.
A local official in the district satated that the warplanes launched on Tuesday night five raids on the areas of al-Nahdain and al-Sabeen, dropping high-explosive bombs on the two areas.
The raids caused severe damage to citizens’ houses, shops and public and private property, the official added.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
