The Ministry of Education in the National Salvation Government had issued directives to open 12 public schools applying the model education system in the capital Sanaa, Director of the Education Office in the capital Zaid al-Rafiq said on Tuesday.
This came during a meeting held at the Education Office in the capital Sanaa to discuss a mechanism for evaluating the performance of public and private schools, as well as the challenges facing education, most notably the shortage of teachers in some schools, and ways to address that.
Al-Rafiq indicated that the capacity of each class in the model schools does not exceed 30 students.
