Muslims around the world celebrate the Eid al-Fitr festival, which marks the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, and is celebrated with prayers, readings from the Koran, and gatherings with family and friends.
This year, the holy month has been particularly bloody, with attacks that killed more than 350 people and spread terror across continents.
