Yemen has faced an unbaiting violent Saudi-led war for 14 months in a campaign that has claimed thousands of civilian lives and severely damaged the country’s infrastructure, and with the addition of U.S. advisers, the war shows no sign of tapering down.

However, despite the overwhelming firepower of the wealthy Gulf alliance, Yemen’s Houthi rebels have successfully pursued a strategy of guerrilla resistance against the invading forces, al-Qaida, and the Islamic State group - and their morale has remained unflagging throughout the grueling conflict.
