Yemeni Students Protest Against Aggression

Students from the Faculty of Science and Education at the University of Baida organized Thursday a gathering dubbed "One Year of Aggression United the Yemeni People."

The students condemned the US-backed Saudi military campaign against Yemen, stressing their steadfastness in the face of the aggression by all possible means.

The protesters also considered that the one year aggression on Yemen has united Yemenis from all provinces and enabled them to know the real enemy, which is the tool of the US and Israel and the tool performs its agendas in Yemen and the region.

Yemen has been under military attacks by Saudi Arabia since late March last year. The Saudi military strikes were launched in a failed effort to undermine the popular Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring the former fugitive president back to power.

More than 8,300 people, among them 2,236 children, have been killed and 16,015 others injured since the start of the aggression. The strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the impoverished country’s facilities and infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.
