A number of Blackwater mercenaries were killed and others injured on Saturday in Mareb province.
The Yemeni army and popular committees repulsed an attempt by the hirelings to advance on military sites in the east of Jawf junction, a military official explained.
A number of the mercenaries were killed and others were wounded, including a leader named Mubarak Mabrouk al-Ajda’ei, during the operation, the official added.
