The Secretary General of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah described the declaration by Yemen to respond to Israel as “important and strategic”.
“Resistance movements should take pride in this announcement. They should see it as a new and additional element of strength, important and strategic,” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Monday, which marks Martyr’s Day.
On Saturday, the leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah Movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, vowed to strike Israel in case of any hostile action against Yemen.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that "the Israeli enemy must know that there is a new strategic environment in confronting it, and the position of Sayyed Houthi is a very important development. The enemy as well as the sons of the resistance are aware of its importance."
"The Yemeni front now has very sophisticated weapons, including missiles and drones. It also has the courage to use them and defied the whole world," the Hezbollah leader added.
