Yemen’s Houthi movement launched drone attacks on the airport of Abha in southwest Saudi Arabia near the Yemeni border, al-Masirah TV tweeted on Tuesday.
In recent months, the Houthis have stepped up attacks against targets in Saudi Arabia in response to the continued aggression by the coalition.
The Western-backed coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE intervened in Yemen in 2015 to forcefully restore the resigned regime of Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the former Yemeni president.
