UAE Command HQ in Yemen’s Western Coast Targeted in Joint Air Attack

The Yemeni army’s missile force and drones on Saturday launched a joint aerial attack on the UAE occupation command building in Yemen’s Red Sea port City of Hodeida, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The rocketry forces fired a ballistic missile on positions of the coalition-backed militias, which coincided with the implementation of drone strikes on the UAE command building on the western coast, the official said.

Saudi Arabia backs Yemen’s resigned Hadi regime and has since March 2015 led a coalition battling the country’s Houthi revolutionaries.

Yemen’s stalemated three-year war has killed over 10,000 people and devastated the country’s infrastructure. The Saudi-led coalition faces widespread international criticism over airstrikes that kill civilians.
