Saudi warplanes continued their relentless air raids against residential areas across Yemen, leaving scores of people dead and injured in the impoverished Arab country.
On Monday, Saudi jets struck a military base as well as an international airport in the capital Sanaa 13 times, causing material damage to a number of buildings there.
In another development, the districts of Shada, Razih, al-Dhaher, Majz, Baqim and Kutaf were strongly pounded by Saudi military aircraft in the northwestern province of Saada, which is a major bastion of support for the Houthi Ansarullah movement.
A large number of people lost their lives during the raids.
Also, Saudi warplanes conducted a series of air raids against Yemen’s northwestern province of Hajjah and pounded Harad and Medi districts 11 times.
In addition, the kingdom’s drones launched nine strikes against al-Jarahi, Hiyas and Zabid districts in the western port city of Hodeida and caused damage to properties there.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for the past three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
